Assess-Implement-Monitor (AIM) Grants by Green Industries South Australia

Green Industries SA is offering Assess-Implement-Monitor (AIM) Grants to support South Australian businesses and not-for-profit organizations in enhancing their environmental sustainability practices. These grants provide funding for expert advisory services to assess current operations, recommend improvements, and build a business case for adopting more sustainable and circular practices. ​

Funding details

Assessment Phase: Up to $15,000 is available on a 2:1 co-contribution basis (GISA:Applicant) to conduct comprehensive evaluations of areas such as materials circularity, waste management, resource efficiency, and scope 3 emissions. ​

Implementation Phase: Following the assessment, up to $5,000 is offered on a 1:1 co-contribution basis to implement recommended actions that meet eligibility criteria. ​

Charitable organizations, social enterprises, and First Nations businesses may be eligible for a full subsidy on assessment costs. ​

Eligibility criteria

  • Must be a business or not-for-profit operating in South Australia for at least two consecutive years.​

  • First Nations businesses, social enterprises, and charitable organizations are encouraged to apply. ​

Assessments focus areas

  • Enhancing materials efficiency and waste management.​

  • Integrating waste management with energy, water, trade waste, and emissions improvements.​

  • Managing and reducing scope 3 emissions, potentially alongside scope 1 and 2 emissions, and developing net-zero strategies. ​
